I just discovered these amazing pieces of art by Brandon Shigeta. His pieces are made from used and destroyed skate decks, and he incorporates the frayed edges into his creations. Incredible!

Skate!
My photo of the day is of Kelly on our friend’s ramp and it was taken a few weeks ago. His yard is filled with tropical plants and it’s a really great atmosphere. Fuel TV actually featured it once. My goal is to get better skate shots. The lighting can be kind of funny and hard to work with, but I’m getting a better feel for it. I can’t wait to go back over there so I can get some more shots…
Bits of My Week
So this is my week so far… I went over to Deland to shoot some photos for school yesterday, so I stumbled upon those old neon signs and the brick building. Kelly also had a couple skate sessions, so I managed to get some shots of that, which is always challenging! I’ve been super busy with school, work, my Etsy shop and my family, so I’m still trying to balance everything. I’m kinda liking my photography class; it’s forcing me to get out of the house and explore a LOT, but I really like that. I’ll be posting some random shots more often, since we have to produce more for class. I’m also going to post Kelly’s latest eBay listings tomorrow!
Weekend Bits
I worked at the surf shop on Saturday and then picked up my Grandson so he could spend the night. Kelly and I took him to the NSB Skate Park on Sunday morning, and Kelly was also able to skate for a bit. Here’s a look back on my weekend…
