Here are some of my favorite items I’ve recently added to my shop. Go check them out at Kibster Vintage!
I’m also excited and proud to announce that my shop was featured this week on Etsy as “Vintage Shops We Love“, under Editor’s Picks.
I hope everyone is having a great week. We’re getting ready for Cadell to go back to school next Monday, so summer is winding down here. It’s always nice to take a break from the school schedule, but we’re ready to get back to having more structure. Along with Cadell going back to school, I’ll be starting a new diet, gym, and work schedule. I recently thrifted a newish Breville juicer for $3, so I’m going to start juicing. I’m currently looking for some good juice recipes, so feel free to share!
I’m excited to announce the return of vintage clothing and accessories to Kibster Vintage!
Last year, I kind of phased out that section of my shop to focus on the home goods. But searching for great vintage clothing and accessories is one of my favorite things to do! So I’m bringing them back to my shop!
My finds won’t be limited to any certain time period or decade. I love anything unusual or well-made, and classic pieces that never go out of style. My favorite materials are cotton, linen, silk, and leather. I also love pieces with subtle details, like a great leather bag with unusual hardware, a jacket with brass buttons, or a shirt with contrast stitching. I truly get excited when I discover something special.
Things are currently in motion as I take inventory, search for new items, and take photos and measurements. My launch date will be this fall, so I’ll be back with the exact date and updates as they come!
Here are the latest additions to my shop. Be sure to check them out at Kibster Vintage.
School starts for Cadell and I on Monday, so I’m getting organized and mentally prepared for some big changes. I will continue to add items to my shop, so it will be business as usual there. I already have some new things lined up and waiting to be photographed and listed, so stay tuned! There’s also a “summer fun” post coming up, which is a roundup of our summer. Have a great weekend, everyone!
Spring has completely kicked in here, so I’ve added some more springtime items to my shop. The only thing going on here lately is yard work and more yard work. We’re dewinterizing everything around here; cleaning the yard/raking and I’ve been spring cleaning the house and weeding out things we don’t need. We’re breaking things up into one project at a time and making our goals each day so it doesn’t get so overwhelming. It’s easy to get discouraged when you don’t get as much done as you planned, but as long as you’re making progress, it’s good.
